The WOW factor!!....Part 1

Hi All,
Like I always say "its been a while", it really has been a while since my last post. I am currently in my hometown, Bangalore, India vacationing for about 2 and a half weeks. It took me 2 years of saving up all the vacation days I had, to make this trip. And, yes, I will admit to the fact that all this time savings has been awesomely worthwhile.

So, this has been my 2nd trip to India in the last 5 years and the first one in 3 and a quarter years. quite long huh?? Man oh man, thnking about it, I can probably write a book and it has just been over a week since I've been here. So you can imagine how much of changes have happened since my last visit.

My first visit was more of a reality check than a culture shock. (its wierd to say this because I have spent all my life here in India, in Bangalore and I actually did feel it that way. Sorry, if I've offended anyone) This time around, I was more than pleased to see and embrace all the changes that have happened in the last 5 years.

The mentality of the youth has completely seen a 360 degree shift. Everyone is very vocal in voiceing their opinions and more importantly FREELY. This was never seen before or atleast I had not noticed it before. There is an air of total competitive ness and awareness regarding coming to facing the reality. The best part is, the politicians now are facing more stick than ever. Sometimes, seeing their faces on the TV screen clueless as to what they must answer is a MUST WATCH and its HOWLARIOUS.

Well, this probably is a nice preview to what is going to come up sooner in my blog. More pics, stories and tales of the enigma called Bangalore will follow. Thanks for reading. Take care.
